The cake was devils food cake, white chocolate cream and fresh berry filling, and iced in white chocolate buttercream and covered in vanilla fondant.
Design elements featured fondant roses, and two very special fondant cats...

This cake was really my first attempt at creating charaters from fondant. Overall I think it wasn't too bad.

The design was realitively simple and straightforward but relied on the success of the fondant characters.
